Hope you all have a good St Patricks day Maybe for some it might be so good that you wont even remember it  

Enjoy your day however you choose to spend it

I know how I will be spending mine. Have to get up early and start baking 100 fairy cakes (yes you did read it right 100 ) my daughters dance class are holding a cake sale in the town so as usual she voluntered me to do it. but as I only have one baking tin that holds 12 buns it could take me some time    

Hi Cathy, I for one believe there was a St Patrick but now that you mention it have come across a few snakes over the years..lol (joke)

I do not want to spoil the fun for anybody but frankly I do not believe there was ever a st patrick coming over from Scotland I wonder .it is particularly a drink session probably made up by some drunk irish man many years ago.

Happy St Patricks Day to all our regular users of the forum. Great to hear from you jb from so far away and how about you Lucy!!!! brilliant to hear from you. Hope you're not feeling too sore.
No sign of rain so far, so will be down at the Parade with the grandchildren (all taking part) this afternoon followed by a sleepover for them with us while mum and dad celebrate the night away!!!.......so busy time ahead today. Havent forgotten you Katie, will get back to you hopefully this weekend.

Finally managed to stumble in to this. Not due to St Pat Celebrations. The stumbling, that is. Due to First Time Ever in such "chat" or is it Forum room?? It says "click on Category" What?
I cannot see "category" anywhere. Then click on "General". Awright, Awright, I can't see Michael Collins or indeed Martin Cahill anywhere. So how did I get here?. Stumbled - used to that!!!

Going for air, now. Been dozing over some bits of admin for a meeting - this being reward for not going entirely comatose.
I'll be back -- Gen Douglas McArthur or Arnold Schw---??
