The law is a little vague, it says a driver is obliged to declare to the licensing authority when applying or renewing a driving licence if they have one of the following medical conditions , the list is long and parkinson's is listed. There is a self declaration option but again it is not really clear. confused confused

Hi Tannie welcome to the forum. I know you have  to declare your PD to the insurance company, otherwise you would not be  insured . I don't think you have to declare it  to the licencing authority,  I might be wrong. I only declared it to my insurance company. lets hear from others  who might have more info,
Patsy

Just discovered that I must tell the licencing authority that I have p.d. I have always told insurers. My licence does not expire until 2018 so I'm not really either applying or renewing yet those seem to be my only options of forms to self declare. Any advise?
