A neurologist told me they were used as muscle relaxants. Best ask your doctor about them if you need to know more. Can't say I have heard of their use much in recent years, but we are all different...

I can see well why the lexapro didnt work for excessive movement . one of the side effects of lexapro is muscle twitching . if prescribed too much it can become severe .

lexapro is used to treat depression and anxiety OCD and social anxiety etc .

diazepam + xanax are Valium . diazepam is used for anxiety
and sometimes depression . not used as much now because of addiction . its also a good muscle relaxant . according to nearly every site i checked on the net -it was used extensively for parkinsons in the past .
Im not sure about how much it is used in present day .
