Cathy I smiled when you said your GP refers to a book.... At least your neurologist invites and answers emails - what about the others reading this? If you have a neurologist, how easy is it to get in contact between visits?

And yes, we need, sorry let me say that loudly - WE NEED MORE NURSES (Parkinson's nurses).

my GP refers to her medical book if i ask a question about Parkinson' usually i have to send email to my neurologist and she is happy to answer but always very brief a Parkinson's nurse would be wonderful ..

Some see neurologists, some geriatricians, some their GPs.

Is your GP up to date with the latest medications and treatments?
Is your GP supportive?
Do you get time to ask all the questions you want?
Have you access to anyone - a nurse specialist or other medical person - in between visits if you need medication advice or adjustment?
